The payment of main and supplementary pensions for October, the pension advance for the same month, and the payment of benefits by the Organization for Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for September are included, among other things, in the payment schedule for the week of September 26–30. In total, it is estimated that nearly 2.5 billion euros will be paid out to more than 5.5 million beneficiaries.
In particular, as stated in a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs:
- From the e-EFKA The following payments will be made between September 26 and 30 as part of the agency’s regular payments:
On Tuesday, September 27, 537.9 million euros will be paid out for September’s primary and supplementary pensions to 949,123 pensioners from the former agencies OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAT, ETAA, ETAP-SME, and DEI.
On Wednesday, September 28, 753.6 million euros will be paid to 1,502,825 pensioners from the public sector, the former IKA-ETAM, banks, and OTE, whose AMKA numbers end in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
On Thursday, September 29, 754.8 million euros will be paid to 1,505,322 pensioners from the public sector, the former IKA-ETAM, banks, and OTE, whose AMKA numbers end in 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8.
On Thursday, September 29, 7.5 million euros will be paid to 20,000 beneficiaries as advance payments of their October pensions, pursuant to Law 4778/2021.
Finally, next week, 16.2 million euros will be paid out to 680 beneficiaries following the issuance of decisions regarding lump-sum payments.
- From the FRA the following payments will be made:
15 million euros to 35,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
€20 million will be paid to 17,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.
7 million euros will be paid to 1,500 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
3 million euros will be paid to 300 beneficiaries for public benefit programs (payment of contributions to organizations).
- From the OPEC, on Friday, September 30, the following payments will be made:
160 million euros to 751,000 beneficiaries for family child benefits.
71.3 million euros to 173,550 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and living allowances).
47.7 million euros to 224,486 beneficiaries under the Minimum Guaranteed Income program.
33.8 million euros in housing allowances to 280,840 recipients.
11.2 million euros to 35,043 beneficiaries for benefits for uninsured seniors.
11.4 million euros in birth allowances to 11,453 recipients.
250,000 euros to 1,200 beneficiaries as the government’s contribution toward loans under the «GEFYRA» program (due to COVID-19).
259,850 euros to 810 beneficiaries for a housing assistance allowance.
214,100 euros to 6,100 beneficiaries for the expatriate allowance.
195,000 euros to 2,800 beneficiaries as a government contribution toward loans (primary residence protection).
106,623 euros to 135 beneficiaries to cover funeral expenses for the uninsured.
