The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 19,705, of which 19 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 2,776,192 (daily change +0.7%), of which 49.3% are males. Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 189 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 1,818 are associated with an already known case.

There are 46 new deaths of COVID-19 patients, with a total of 26,893 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.2% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 349 (62.8% men). Their median age is 69 years. 90.8% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Among intubated patients, 224 (64.18%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 125 (35.82%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4 389 patients have been discharged from ICUs. New Covid-19 patient admissions to hospitals in the territory are 372 (daily change +3.62%). The seven-day average admission rate is 321 patients.

The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
