The convenience store employee who was robbed in Toumba is dead

A 44-year-old convenience store clerk who was attacked by a man who stormed the store where he worked at about 4 a.m. on Gr. Lambraki, in Toumba, Thessaloniki. According to police information, the assailant arrived at the scene on foot and was carrying a pistol. According to preliminary evidence, the gunman who entered the store with the aim of robbery, hit the employee in the head with the handle of the pistol, causing head injuries. Police officers of the Northern Greece Criminal Investigation Sub-Division are at the scene collecting evidence to lead to the identification and arrest of the perpetrator.
