Councillor Nikos Magoulas takes a stand on the press release of the Municipality of Kythera regarding the redevelopment of Potamos and the attack launched against the architect Andreas Mariatos. Attached is the statement:
«The open attack on our good colleague Architecton, Andreas Mariatos through the recent press release of the Municipality of Kythera cannot be accepted by anyone. We all need to know the name of the author of this press release. Alas if these are the official positions of the Municipality of Kythera, the Municipality of all Kytherians and Antikytherians. Alas if the official municipality attempts to gag any established scientist has an opposing view to his own. Alas if the City attempts to silence any citizen. Alas if the Municipality's arguments are limited to smearing and deconstructing personalities. This press release is a SHAME!
At the same time, and because lately I have been observing a methodical effort of online bullying of anyone who dares to have a different opinion from the official one of the Municipality, I explicitly declare that I am ALSO, and I will fight with all my strength for the restoration of freedom of speech in this little place.
