Coronavirus: 2,215 new cases, 451 intubated, 32 deaths

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 2,215, of which 15 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 201,677 (daily change +1.1%), of which 51.7% are males.

Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 71 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,885 are associated with an already known case.

There are 32 new deaths of COVID-19 patients, with a total of 6,664 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.8% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.

The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 451 (68.3% men). Their median age is 68 years. 84.7% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,398 patients have been discharged from ICUs. The admissions of new Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 402 (daily change +10.14%). The seven-day average admission rate is 335 patients.
The median age of cases is 44 years, while the median age of deaths is 79 years.
