For most of the global economy, 2023 will be a difficult year, as the main drivers of global growth—the U.S., Europe, and China—are facing a slowdown in economic activity, said Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), today.
«The new year will be »tougher than the one we're leaving behind,«» Georgieva said on the American news network's program "Face the Nation.".
«Why? Because the three major economies—the U.S., the EU, and China—are all slowing down at the same time,» he emphasized.
