Ina Tarantou continues her travels throughout Greece and sees life differently. The journey becomes the destination and life is experienced through the eyes of those she meets.
“Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the people, places and moments that take our breath away.”.
Stories of people whose everyday life shows optimism, strength and hope. People who have chosen to stay forever, to return forever, or to always return to their place. Through their «eyes» we see life, history and the beauty of our land.
Each story shows us, with its own beauty, another side of the Greek land, of Greek society, of Greek reality. Sometimes looking into the future and sometimes having deep roots in the past.
The countryside and nature, gastronomy, musical traditions, sports and customs, arts and science are the best vehicle to see Life differently, wherever we find ourselves. With people as our compass, through the show, we will document everyday life in every part of Greece, we will live life together as if it were Life differently. We will taste, we will listen, we will dance, we will laugh, we will be moved. And we will learn all those things that can only be learned when shared.
Because life is more beautiful when you dare to live it differently!
Saturday 06.03.21: «Kythera, the people and the ideal island» Part 3 - Episode 3
The energy it radiates wherever you are is exactly what makes Kythera the Ideal Island.
In this episode we met people who took the Ideato and made it a daily practice. We briefly lived scenes from their lives and saw what it's like to love, appreciate and enjoy every day in your place.
We met Kostis, who is not what we would call a typical young boy of his generation. Although 18 years old, he is a child of tradition: clown, loom, music, songs and many stories from the old days with this characteristic, but conscious and proud Kytheraiko idiom in his accent.
We met with Harry at his olive groves and there we got to know all the company he has around him for the agricultural work. People from all over the world that this magical island has found a way to steal their hearts. With Minas and his young son George, we got a glimpse into the daily life of a baker, but also into the simple, human life that you can live on this island.
This is the life Themis described to us in his barber shop. Along with other everyday stories, we learned his personal story and how he managed to love the life he lives and live the life he loves.
What would Kythera be without the friendships and the stories of its people? Without the people who live today but keep something from then. And so they have their own way of living in Kythera, their Life Differently.
