Friends,

My love for our beautiful island pushed me in these local elections to run as a candidate for municipal councillor with the faction “ALL TOGETHER KYTHIRA - ANTIKYTHIRA” with candidate Mayor Zacharias I. Souris. Faced with the challenge of the new local elections, we are called upon to make serious and responsible decisions. The difficult global and national context requires people with experience, knowledge, ethics, capable of managing the fate of the Municipality. A Municipality where we and our children will live in a safe, clean environment, with health, sports and social structures worthy of our expectations.

Spending a lot of time on our island, my family and I have experienced the problems of its daily life, but also its huge potential for development. Faced with the challenge of a new municipal term, we are called upon to work to realize these potentials and to address the daily problems that plague the place. Having worked for 20 years in health care and local government in positions of responsibility, I ask for your vote to enable me to contribute to our beloved island in line with the challenges of the future and to strengthen women's voices in decision making.

• I was born in Athens to parents from Piraeus with a mother of Tsirigotian descent, née Samiou
  from Aloisianika Kythera, where I maintain a residence.
• I graduated from the Primary, Secondary and High School of the Tositsias - Arsakia Schools of Ekali.
• Graduate of the Department of Dentistry, University of Athens Medical School.
• Orthodontics specialty (France - University of ParisVI).
• Specialization in Sports Stomatology (University of Orleans).
• MBA - Health Services Management (E.S.L.S.C.A. - Paris).
• τ. Associate of the National Centre for Sports Research (EKAE) of the Olympic Stadium and member of the
  of the Medical Coverage Teams at Olympic Games.
• τ. Regular member of the Committee of the K.E.S.Y. of the Ministry of Health.
• τ. An. Administrator of the Children's Hospital
  “P. & A. Kyriakou”.

• Member of the charity Lifeline Hellas under the auspices of Her Royal Highness the Queen
  Their Royal Highnesses Prince Alexander and Princess Catherine of Serbia, with the main objective of
  donations of medical equipment to hospitals.
• I have participated with papers published in many Greek and international conferences and I am
  member of Greek and Foreign Scientific Societies.
• I am married to Surgeon Ioannis Stavrakis, Director of the B’ Surgical Clinic of the
  Hospital “Red Cross” and we have two sons, a pharmacist and a senior
  medicine.
• I speak French, English and Spanish.

I have been involved in local government since 2004 and I have served:

• Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Children's Centres of Cholargos and member of the Board of the K.A.P.H.
• Municipal Councillor of Papagos - Cholargos.
• Vice President of the Municipal Organization for Social Care and Preschool Education
  (DOKMEPA) Papagos - Cholargos.
• Curator of the Children's Centres of Papagos - Cholargos.
• Member of the Quality of Life Committee.
• Representative of the Municipality of Papagos Cholargos in Brussels (2012 and 2013) for the programmes
  NSRF to European municipalities.

During my term of office, in cooperation with the Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospital, the
Programs:

• Preventive Pediatrics in the kindergartens of Cholargos with significant medical examination
  in children, in collaboration with the Department of Social Pediatrics.
• Training in First Aid and CPR to parents and
  the employees of the Children's Centres, in collaboration with the B’ Paediatric Surgery Clinic.
• Control of Learning Difficulties in preschool children, in collaboration with the
  University Clinic of Developmental Pediatrics.
