All hell has broken loose in the social media after the version of the owner of the tavern (which raises a lot of questions if confirmed) but also clients on the occasion of the episode with the pulmonologist Theodoros Vassilakopoulos in a tavern in Kalambaka.

The doctor complained that he was bullied by the owners of the tavern, when he complained that patrons were not being checked for their vaccination certificate! But the claims of the owners of the tavern are completely different and even reveal a serious dimension of the case that should be answered.

Mr. Stelios Loukidis, President of the Pulmonology Society speaking to Open revealed that it was he who made the remark in a tavern for not checking the vaccination certificates that led to the attack against Theodoros Vassilakopoulos, while demanding that there be a de-escalation from the whole event.

«Look, what I would like to say is that we need to de-escalate this a little bit and most importantly we all need to think that we are part of an effort that has been going on for about two years. They reacted very, very strongly. There was no check,» he noted.

Mr.Loukidis confirmed that he was the one who «very calmly and very politely» made the remark and said that for Mr.Vassilakopoulos he said that simply afterwards «there was an intense confrontation and there was clearly a targeting of his face. This revelation contradicts the second claim of Theodore Vasilakopoulou, who expressed the view that the majority of the tavern's patrons were not checked, leaving accusations that they were unvaccinated, since according to ERT, not a single violation was found by the direct control of the police.
