Under the terms of the Program Agreement between the Network and the Municipality of Poros, aimed at implementing the Municipality’s Technical Program for the years 2021–2022–2023 and the simultaneous utilization of significant funding secured by the Municipality, a highly successful working meeting was held on Tuesday, May 3, and Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Poros.
The following attended the working meeting: the Mayor of Poros, Mr. Ioannis Dimitriadis, the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Ioannis Papachristou, municipal employees, officials from the Network’s Technical Service, as well as staff who, through the Program Agreement, have been assigned by the Network and are stationed at the Municipality of Poros to support the municipality’s Technical Service.
The Network Administrator, Mr. Marinis Beretsos, after delivering a brief greeting, briefly outlined the key areas of cooperation between the Network and the Municipality and then gave the floor to officials from the Network’s Technical Service, who provided a detailed analysis of the administrative and financial monitoring procedures for the Programming Agreement, the broader framework for the planning and implementation of Programming Agreements, the Public Procurement Documents, as well as the monitoring of the management of co-financed projects.
After the presentations, a discussion ensued, during which questions were raised and addressed and resolved by the speakers.
On the second day, executives from the Network’s Technical Service visited the offices of the Municipality of Poros, where they conducted a case study, as well as an analysis of the procedures for tendering and supervising projects, led by the head of the Technical Services Department of Parnona Development, Ms. Marina Tritaki.
The constructive collaboration between the Network and the Municipality of Poros continues with undiminished intensity, both through the technical support provided to the Municipality and through the implementation of the CLLD/LEADER Local Program.
