Attica's regional governor, George Patoulis, has announced that he is positive to the coronavirus in a post on Facebook. He says that he was tested immediately after being informed by an elected ruler that the latter had symptoms of coronavirus, with whom he had a meeting a few days ago.
In detail, he wrote in his post Mr Patoulis
«I was informed by a mayor I met with the previous days that he had symptoms of #Covid19. I immediately underwent testing and the result came back positive. I will remain in solitary confinement for the next period, carrying out my duties remotely and safely. #We_are_safe», he wrote on his personal social media accounts.
