The theatrical review of Ash Wednesday

On Saturday 18 February 2023 at 19.00, we had the pleasure of enjoying the theatrical revue of Chiknopeptis, which we all know for many years and had been deprived of due to covid, in the hall of the Kytheraikos Association in Chora Kythera.

The performance was organized by the Kythera Theatre Workshop and the theatrical group «Light» and was dedicated to Mr. Andreas Louranto-Kontaratos, the pioneer of the performances of Tsiknopeptis who unfortunately passed away 1 year ago due to the deadly virus and to Mrs. Eleni Roussetou who we also lost to the coronavirus.

In a mixed atmosphere of immense emotion and great joy, the amateur actors gave their best in a recital of performance with texts, most of which were written by the very talented Fotis Petsos and Akis Agioploudis, criticizing the Kythiraean society and reality.

Congratulations to all of them!
We wish you next year!
