The change in Minimum Import Base that will leave out higher education thousands of young people, has justifiably provoked the anger of students and parents. Η Niki Kerameos defended the bill of the Ministry of Education without however managing to calm down the fierce reactions.
A petition was posted on the internet, as of Tuesday afternoon, regarding the resignation of the minister and the revocation of the «monstrosity» of the NEC.
«Her neoliberal policies consistently prove that she is not relevant to the subject of education and cannot cope as minister of education, to the extent that she threatens students and their interests,» the resolution states, calling for «this middle age to end here».
