The first pre-conference of the Southwest in Thessaloniki in the presence of Mr. Mitsotakis

The first pre-conference of the New Democracy in Thessaloniki will take place this morning, at 09:30, at the Velideion Conference Centre, in the presence of the Prime Minister and the President of the New Democracy Party, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The pre-conference will take place in two parts: the first part will be on: «Everyday Citizens, Tax Cuts, Investment and New Jobs», and the second part.

In the first part of the pre-conference, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the General Director of the Southwest and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yannis Bratisakos, the Secretary of the Southwest's Central Committee Pavlos Marinakis and the Secretary of the Organizational Committee Stelios Kontadakis will participate in a central panel, with the party's press spokesman, Tasos Gaitanis, moderating the discussion.

Among others, the regional governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the mayor of Thessaloniki, Konstantinos Zervas and the Deputy Minister of Interior responsible for Macedonia and Thrace, MP for Thessaloniki, Stavros Kalafatis, will address a short address.

There will be introductory remarks by C. Bratakos and P. Marinakis and will be followed by speeches by the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiades, the Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Nikos Papathanasis and others, greetings from MPs of Thessaloniki and other statements.

The second part of the Pre-Synod, which concerns major infrastructure projects, will open with an introductory statement by the Prime Minister, followed by short presentations by the Minister and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr.Karamanlis and Mr. Mr. Karagiannis.

As noted by the party's press office, in the run-up to the 14th Congress of New Democracy, which will take place from May 6 to 8 at the Metropolitan Expo, two pre-conferences will be held in Thessaloniki and Heraklion, as well as two more pre-conference debates in Attica after the first one which has already taken place in Egaleo.

It is also noted that entry is only allowed upon presentation of a vaccination certificate or a certificate of illness during the last three months, as well as the corresponding identification document.
