Contracts for infrastructure and road works in the Regional Unit of the Islands ready

The goal is to improve residents' quality of life.

The program agreements signed on October 26 by Attica Regional Governor George Patoulis are giving new impetus to the islands’ development prospects.

Attica Regional Governor G. Patoulis signed program contracts with a total budget of 2.4 million euros for road and infrastructure projects in the Regional Unit of the Islands

G. Patoulis: «Through the projects being implemented in the Islands Regional Unit, we are helping to improve infrastructure, boost competitiveness and enhance the tourism product, as well as improve the quality of life for residents.»

The Regional Governor signed program contracts yesterday with a total budget of 2.4 million euros Attica: G. Patoulis.

The first contract was signed in the presence of the Deputy Regional Governor for the Islands Β. Theodorakopoulou Bogri with the Mayor of Salamis G. Panagopoulos and has a budget of 1.2 million euros. The contract covers maintenance and upgrade work on sports facilities in Salamina. The President of the Sports Organization was also present at the signing AKOIPOP ΘAlaiskas.

 The second contract signed with the project contractor It also has a budget of 1.2 million euros and covers road construction and maintenance projects throughout the Regional Unit of the Islands.

On the occasion of the signing of the relevant contracts, the Regional Governor of Attica, G. Patoulis, noted that through the projects being implemented in the Regional Unit the Attica Region is contributing to the balanced development of all its areas, improving infrastructure, strengthening competitiveness and the tourism product, and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
