The Professor Nic. Γ. Orphanoudakis, Mechanical Engineer NTUA, PhD Imperial College London, Professor of the University of Athens, tried to highlight the issue of forcible delousing and the impact it will have on the country's energy dependence.
In this effort, he sent an open letter to the Prime Minister, wrote an article and gave an interview to Militaire.gr. No response from the Mansion House.
Orphanoudakis returns with a new letter to the Prime Minister, asking for a meeting, even for a few minutes, in order to inform him about the issue of forcible delinquency.
Letter:
«ANOIKTH LETTER TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF GREECE
Dear Prime Minister,
Once again, I am trying to contact you on the subject of forcible delousing.
I don't understand why you can't take 10 minutes to we report the technical problems brought about by the violent de-lignification on network stability, unemployment and the most important consequence, namely absolute energy dependence of the country (when the EU has given a time limit of 2050 for full charring.
That's why the Poles, Czechs, Germans, Bulgarians, Romanians, etc. continue unabated). You are not giving us the a chance to meet, maybe because your advisors don't have arguments to deal with us?;
I have told you in previous letters, the saying that violent fumigation will have a benefit to the environment is at least «inappropriate» when Greece contributes about 2% of pollutants carbon dioxide in Europe and unfortunately for the councillors would be produced by Bulgaria and Turkey anyway instead of by the when we import energy from these countries.
The last few days, however, with the excessive increase in the price of Natural Gas, lignite will also become more economically viable! What will your advisors say then, sir? Prime Minister?; When we will have lost about €9 billion because we will reject Units that have not been depreciated and will need to manage «carcasses» of units and mines until the full their restoration;
What will your advisors say when your bragging κ. Mytilineos (who incidentally intervened against the violent ) that the new Unit that will be manufactures will cost 350 million euros compared to -for the same with the conversion of the Ptolemaida 5 unit that the PPC will eventually give 2.35 billion euros and which - Ptolemais 5- due of the lowest efficiency will enter the grid very less;
Really, after the big increases in gas prices, you still think it's a good decision to make a violent the fossilization that some advisors have unfortunately led you to?;
It's obvious the failure already, that we are still at the beginning of the not because we are wise, but because we are wise. that's the market. Do, even now, stop the actions to force delignification. It is a national crime for Greece.
Don't get this stigma when in other areas you really will leave a very positive mark of your Prime Minister (market warplanes and frigates, crisis management of the Coronaeus, electronic issuance of various certificates -E-GOV etc.).
Please accept to discuss and listen to us after as you say you listen to the experts. Surely our team that has more than of 35 years average experience in power generation knows much to inform you on the matter and not your advisers who as a result they have been wrong.
With respect
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Γ. Orphanoudakis.
