The notices for traffic taxes were posted on Saturday 20 November 2022 in myCar platform of ADEA and now vehicle owners are required to pay the amount due by 31 December, otherwise they will face a hefty fine. It is noted that the notices for the circulation fees include a QR Code.
This year, there are no changes in the amounts that will be paid by vehicle owners compared to the previous year. Citizens can use the barcode to pay the road tax via bank or the QR code to pay via their mobile phone.
Step by step the payment process
On the platform myCar vehicle owners have two options:
In the first, entitled «Vehicle Registration Fees», vehicle owners/owners have the possibility to be informed about:
- information about their vehicles,
- the registration fee payment codes for them,
- the payment codes in a spreadsheet (excel), in case of a number of vehicles
- obtain the relevant certificate for vehicles owned by them in order to use it for transferring a vehicle, exporting a vehicle abroad, re-registering a vehicle
- a possible debt for the Traffic Taxes for the year 2016.
In the second, entitled «Digital Immobilisation/Circulation», vehicle owners/owners have the possibility to:
- put passenger and two-wheeled private vehicles in digital immobilisation,
- to lift digital immobility,
- recover declarations already submitted
In order for vehicles to be placed in digital immobilisation/circulation, they must be in circulation/immobilisation, respectively, and their plates and other registration data must be in the possession of their owners.
2022 road tax: what changes this year
The notable change this year, however, is in the way they are paid. In particular, vehicle owners will have to enter the platform myCar using their Taxisnet codes and select the «Vehicle Registration Fees» section.
2022 circulation fees: deadline until 31 December - hefty fine
Then the option to display the notice will appear, which this year will also have a QR code (QR code), which will allow direct payment, via web banking.
The deadline for the payment of road tax will be 31 December 2021, without counting any extensions. It is recalled that those who do not pay the circulation fees will be asked to pay double.
