In a festive atmosphere, the official praise service for the first day of the New Year 2023 was held this Sunday at 11:30 in the morning at the Metropolitan Church of the Crucified in Chora of Kythera.
The official ceremony was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythera and Antikythera.
The Mayor of Kythera Mr.Efstratios Harhalakis, members of the Municipal Council, the military and civil authorities of the place were present.
After the end of the praise as usual followed the cutting of the New Year's cake in the hall «Mayor Artemios Kalligeros» of the Town Hall. Finally the Mayor wished for the day.
