Today (10/4) the presentation by Stefanos Kasselakis of the candidates of Attica who are included in the primaries for the European elections of SYRIZA continues.
After Nea Ionia, Peristeri (Dimarchion Square) at 20:00 and the process will be completed on Friday, at 19:30, in Nea Smyrni Square.
We recall that the primaries are held on Sunday and members and friends of the party participate in the process either in person or electronically.
On Friday afternoon, at 13.00, Mr Kasselakis will speak at the Delphi Economic Forum.
Meanwhile, Koumoundourou is linking the revival of its demand for early elections with its assessment that the government is rapidly retreating.
Official opposition figures comment on the CNN Greece that the Southwest is on a path of disaffiliation that forced Kyriakos Mitsotakis to pose national election dilemmas at the closing of the ruling party's congress.
According to the same sources, the government is facing and losing the battle first of all with the problems of society and by extension with society itself: ’It is recording a series of critical failures: enormous precision, the erosion of institutions, with interceptions and interference in the authorities, and increased insecurity«.
In Koumoundourou, moreover, they treated with subtle but subtle irony the reactions caused by the article Kasselakis both by the Prime Minister himself, who accused the president of SYRIZA-PS of trying to destabilize the country and by the government spokesman, Pavlos Marinakis, who spoke of «conspiracy theories».
In the same vein, SYRIZA characterizes the crime of Tempi as a separate chapter, with its management leading to a loss of credibility for the government and an indelible stigma of social condemnation, which is also reflected in the polls, with their qualitative data mainly constituting «ticking time bombs» for ND: «The prospect of rapid political shrinkage justifiably worries the Mansion House, but also personally Mr. Mitsotakis, who said that “behind the title and names of our ballot paper is my name”.
The same circles do not let the intervention of Nikos Dendias on the «need to re-establish the state» go unheeded.
In this context, they believe that the Minister of Defence reiterates as a stake the slogan with which the Southwest began its term of government in 2004: «Unfortunately for the country, this government is not capable of any re-foundation. The government is no longer fit for this government; it is no longer fit for anything but further deregulation, which it is carrying out at a rapid pace», the same sources conclude.
As for the primaries, Fotis Kouvelis is the chairman of the Central Election Committee and its members are Theodora Tzakri, Panos Rigas, Giannis Mantzouranis, Fani Yiotaki, Lila Soule and Dimitris Tokanis.
