In a meeting of New Democracy MPs with the Bureau of the Union of Border Guards of Evros Prefecture held yesterday at the Parliament, the MP for Piraeus and Islands of the New Democracy, Christoforos Boutsikakis, participated.
The briefing was detailed on the developments and events in the Evros region concerning the migration issue, but also on the current issues that concern the Border Guard Services, with the submission of proposals by the Union on the proper and effective operation of their services.
The MPs, after praising the valuable work offered by the border guards and after listening with great interest to the issues raised, confirmed that the State is close to them in every request that would help them to perform their duties more efficiently and effectively.
