What emerged from the meeting Mitsotakis-Erdoğan; “A calm summer” although the Turkish president “promised” calm throughout 2021! Was this the only goal of Greek foreign policy? We hope not. And what will we do during this six months of “pause”? Will we use it to “regroup” in the military field or will we continue to “play”?;
What else did the meeting offer to the Greek-Turkish;
Dr Ioannis Mazis, Professor of Economic Geography and Geopolitics at the University of Athens and Chairman of the Department of Turkish Studies and Contemporary Asian Studies, spoke in the programme EPTO PIESTERIOU with George Siadima and Vassilis Skouris. Among other things he pointed out:
►Since Greece is not demanding anything, listen to the demands of the other side.
►The moratorium is a deprivation of basic sovereign rights.
►We put Helsinki out of the window again.
►Erdogan will ask Biden to ask Greece to back down.
