The rocket ship (TPC) was officially launched at the port of Kapsali in Kythera «DEIANNIS» of the Navy.
The arrival of the warship is part of the events planned to celebrate the anniversary of the 162nd Anniversary of the Union of the Ionian Islands with Mother Greece, commemorating the historic anniversary of 21 May 1864. The presence of the Navy on the island underlines the importance of Kythera as an integral part of the Ionian complex and history.
Visiting room for the public
As part of the celebrations, the ship's management and the local authorities invite the island's residents and visitors to get to know the ship and its crew.

The visit is an excellent opportunity, especially for children and families, to be shown around the missile ship, to learn about the mission and capabilities of the ship, and to talk to the Navy personnel who protect the sovereign rights of our country.
The festivities in Kythera are expected to culminate tomorrow with the official wreath-laying ceremony and the student parades, in the presence of representatives of the political and military leadership.
