These days with Garbi, the west coast of the Kythira have their honor. Felioti, Skydia, Melidoni, Vani, the islands of Myrtidia and the coast up to Routsouna are boiling! In Felioti, in Katergo, in Pigs, in Flower, in Kakoplaka, in Pachia Mouri this afternoon it was a magnificent sight to see the seas rising and falling on the rocks!
Only the seascapes of Papadiamantis, Kontoglou and Karkavitsas can render these images «......What splendour was in that mess, that mess! Rough and heavy, coarse-voiced, the great buzzing did all the time: «Boohoo! Booah! Booah! Booah! Baaa! Baaa! Baaa! Baahaha!» Amongst this were intermingled some howling, humming, whistling, barking, muttering, hahaha of sorts coming out of the foaming and thrashing waters ...........’
