The Kythira and Antikythira Local Property Commission announces that the failure to operate the Kapsali Campground and the failure to construct the two restrooms in Melidoni and Chalkos are due exclusively to the inaction of the Piraeus Forestry Office, which, citing various unfounded excuses—such as the pandemic, staff shortages, etc., is unjustifiably delaying the relevant approvals, while at the same time continuously issuing other administrative acts (regulations, etc.)
To that end, we sought recourse through the courts—specifically, through the criminal justice system against two specific officials, and through the civil justice system against those same two officials and the Greek government.
We also announce that, regarding the unlawful and arbitrary fine imposed on us by the Piraeus Urban Planning Authority, criminal charges have already been filed against the responsible officials, and through a supplementary legal action by the undersigned, a request has been made to identify the person who informed the officials that the Diakofto building belongs to Egchorio, as they have stated, since that individual will also be investigated as an instigator of the offenses for which the officials are being investigated.
The President
