The Kythira Foundation for Culture and Development donated to the General State Archives - Kythera Department the collection of original glass negatives of the Panagiotis Faceas, as well as the official prints from the photographer's exhibition at the Benaki Museum.
This valuable photographic material of historical and artistic interest will be stored in special metal cabinets, donated by the Kytherian Genealogy Project and Peter Vlandis, through the KIPA.
The Saturday 8 July at 17.30 the opening of the photographic exhibition of the archive of Panagiotis Faceas will take place in the building of the Kythera Archive in the Castle of Chora.
