The faction «First the Man» issued a press release on the incident of damage in Diakofti on a rock where the Greek flag is painted with paint. The following is the press release:
D.T. FOR THE VANDALISM OF THE GREEK FLAG

If destroying or abusing symbols, even in secret, is a cowardly and absolutely reprehensible act, vandalizing the symbol of our homeland, the Greek flag, is a highly unacceptable, despicable and abhorrent act.
We therefore condemn, for the third time, the abuse of our flag on a rock next to the road to Diakofti and at the same time we congratulate those who took care of its immediate restoration.
