On August 1, the island of Kythira celebrates the memory of the Holy Martyr Saint Elese, at the Holy Temple of the same name, on her sacred rock.
According to the program, on Sunday evening (July 31) at 7 p.m., the Great Festive Vespers will be sung, and on Monday morning (August 1), the main day of the feast, an Archieratical Concelebration will be held, presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Kalavryta and Aegialia, followed by the procession of the Holy Icon of Saint Eleusa.
