Vardis Vardinoyannis, head of the Feronimos Group and one of the most powerful players in the Greek economy and shipping, has passed away at the age of 90.
In a statement issued by his family a short while ago, the following was said:
«It is with deepest sorrow that the Vardis I. Vardinoyannis family announces that his beloved father and grandfather, Vardis I. Vardinoyannis, passed away today, Tuesday 12 November 2024»
He was the head of the Vardinoyannis Group and is considered one of the most powerful players in the Greek economy. According to Lloyd's his name was included in the list of powerful players in world shipping.
