«Children's Wanderings», another song by Giorgos Kasimatis has been uploaded on his YouTube channel. Let's read what George wrote about this song:
«Two years ago I had a conversation with a good friend of mine from the island. So in the conversation, we started discussing and contrasting experiences we had as children. Although I have always been in touch with my hometown of Kythera as a child, I consider myself a child of the city, since my memories and experiences on the island from my childhood are not strong.... She on the other hand, born and raised on the island, spoke of a natural, free everyday life, full of colours, vibrancy, sea and adventure. A narrative so descriptive and honest that I was momentarily transported - as the song says - to sailing off-shore, in the company of seabirds - gulls, and even today, when I think about this conversation, I vividly recall moments I didn't live (a feeling-paradoxical, but real).
So a conversation became a reminiscence, the reminiscence became a journey, and the journey became a song. “Childish Wanderings”, from my second collection of songs entitled “The Oath”. Enjoy your listening!
(The little bee fighting the waves is a creation of my sister, Eva)»
We continue to listen to the new creator and follow him!
