Yesterday (26-04-2026) the «Gyra» of the Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary of Myrtidiotissa was completed and returned to Her throne accompanied by a multitude of people and by the Metropolitan, who accompanied Her on foot to all the villages and settlements, as he has been doing for the 20 years of his Archdiocese here.
We warmly thank Father Pavlos, who retired from the Holy Pilgrimage of Myrtidiotissa after 10 months of his stay and who with exemplary respect and reverence celebrated the Holy Orders.
Of course we thank our Metropolitan, who has made him available exclusively to Myrtidiotissa all this time and is already taking care of his permanent replacement.
Finally, it is known that on the next Sunday of Paralytos (03-05-2026) there will be a priest and a cantor to celebrate the Divine Liturgy.
