In a letter to the Minister of Health, Olga Gerovassili, Secretary of the SYRIZA - Progressive Alliance, informed that all the MPs - Doctors of the opposition, “with full awareness of their responsibility towards the Greek people who are being severely tested in the midst of the pandemic”, intend to support the National Health System in the Ministry's planning for the coronavirus.

“Mr. Minister,
I inform you that with full awareness of the responsibility towards the Greek people who are being severely tested by the outbreak of the epidemic and given the needs of the National Health System, the Members of Parliament - Doctors of SYRIZA - Progressive Alliance intend to support the health system, in the midst of the emergency conditions facing the country.
Obviously, the effectiveness of our MPs' contribution to the system is up to the central planning of the Ministry of Health, based on the needs of the hospitals and the specialty of the doctors.
