On December 6, 2008, the then 15-year-old, Nikos Romanos, sees before his eyes,
his best friend, Alexandros Grigoropoulos, being murdered by a police officer
………………………………………..
In February 2013, he is arrested along with three other people, after robbing banks in Velvento, Kozani.
………………………………………..
So then terrorism was added to the charges, but he was eventually convicted only for the robberies
………………………………………..
In 2014, he managed to pass his final exams in prison and get into a school,
but the vindictive state (how else to put it) would not let him study
………………………………………..
and then we had a hunger strike by Romano, which went down in history.
………………………………………..
Why did it go down in history?;
Because he managed with his relentless struggle to force the state to enforce the law with the bracelet, which existed but was not enforced,
so that prisoners can study...
………………………………………..
since then and because of Romanos, the bracelet is applied in Greece
………………………………………..
So he started going to school and then back to prison,
with
his professors saying the best about how diligent he was
while
and his grades were very good
………………………………………..
He was finally released from prison in the summer of 2019,
as he was granted the mitigating circumstance of good behavior in prison
………………………………………..
since his release from prison, he has never again been of concern to the authorities or the public sphere,
until he was arrested in November 2024, for an explosion in an apartment in Ambelokipi,
and
was considered an act of terrorism...
………………………………………..
Romanos was arrested because, he says, his fingerprint was found in a plastic bag(!!!!) in the flattened apartment, inside which the bag contained weapons...
………………………………………..
I mean, there was such a bang that the apartment was leveled,
but
the plastic bag was found and on the bag was found the fingerprint
………………………………………..
since then, (November 2024) Romanos went to jail and since then he has been trying to prove that he is not an elephant
………………………………………..
Why?;
but because the bag is a mobile object and he could have picked it up anywhere, anytime....
………………………………………..
From then until today, he has been in custody awaiting trial...
………………………………………..
Finally today, after the prosecutor's recommendation, the court decided that Nikos Romanos is innocent
………………………………………..
1. Nikos Romanos has never killed anyone, ever.
2. after the history of Velventos, Nikos Romanos joined the socially as our democracy dictates
3. Nikos Romanos spent 17 months in prison, for NO REASON
………………………………………..
P.S. Nikos Romanos is now 33 years old and has spent a total of about 7.5 years of his life in prison....
Imagine if he was involved in the crime in Tempe.
ή
in the OPEKEPE scandal
ή
to watch with the prentor, MPs, journalists, ministers, etc.
ή
if only he were responsible for the poverty that has torn the people apart....
He would have been an Isobia... (or a minister...)
