A unique educational action took place in the context of the lesson of Ancient Greek Literature, where students studied the Adventures of Odysseus and, with creativity and imagination, they constructed the Ulysses' raft!
With initiative and editing of the philologist κ. Evangelia Koutante, the students of the 1st Gymnasium of Kythera ’travelled« to the world of Homer, combining knowledge with practice. The creation of the raft was a fun and educational experience, highlighting the importance of the perseverance, cooperation and creative thinking.
The students, inspired by the resourceful hero, created, competed and learned that the effort and reward are the greatest assets for any traveller of knowledge.
On this journey, everyone has a place, and this educational experience proves that the learning can become an exciting journey!
