An interesting economic analysis was presented to the viewers of Kontra by the MP of the Southwest, Konstantinos Kyranakis, through his statement on «redistribution of wealth».
As he stressed, redistribution takes place through higher taxes paid by the haves.
«The government decided not to proceed to horizontal measures for accuracy but to redistribute, that is, to take money through taxation from some people who are privileged and redistribute it», Konstantinos Kyranakis said initially, commenting on the new measures, to be asked by journalist George Melingonis «what exactly did he do and how did he take it?».
Then the MP of the Southwest replied by saying «but if you have more money, you pay more tax».
