What does the government plan to do if the situation gets out of control with regard to the management of coronavirus, said the government spokesperson, Stelios Petsas, in ANT1.
As government spokesperson Stelios Petsas noted, there is a possibility of new local lockdown in the event that the coronavirus get away with it again. «Fortunately, in recent days we’ve been doing a better job of maintaining this image,» Mr. Petsas noted.
Regarding areas that do not have an elevated viral load and the lifting of the lockdown, Stelios Petsas stated that by January 7, 2021, the general measures will remain in place, and thereafter the phased easing of restrictions for certain geographic areas and social activities will be considered.
