«A »black" record for coronavirus deaths in 2022 was set today as 119 people died in 24 hours. In fact, the NHS announced a total of 128 deaths as there was an integration of deaths recorded late in the National COVID19 Registry.
The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 19,731, of which 58 were identified following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,940,723 (daily change +1.0%), of which 49.8% are males. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 431 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 1,856 are associated with an already known case.

Among the hospitalized intubated patients, 452 (78.47%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 124 (21.53%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4 035 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The admissions of new Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 398 (daily change -18.78%). The seven-day average admission is 433 patients.The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
