Today we are announcing 1,251 news items cases of the new virus in the country, of which 20 were identified following checks at the country's entry points. The total number of cases is 116721, of whom 52.7% were men.
5,007 (4.3%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad, and 31,293 (26.8%) are linked to a previously known case.
600 Our fellow citizens are hospitalized and intubated. Their median age is 65 years. 167 (27.8%) are women, and the rest are men. 75.7% of those on ventilators have an underlying medical condition or are 70 years of age or older. 668 Patients have been discharged from the ICUs.
Finally, we have 89 additional reported deaths and 3092 Total deaths in the country: 1,237 (40.0%) women and the rest men. The median age of our fellow citizens who died was 79 years, and 96.2% had an underlying medical condition and/or were 70 years of age or older.
