Extraordinary meeting, will have tomorrow Monday, at 12 noon, the Presidency of the KEDE, with government ministers, the Ministry of Interior, as reported by exclusive information the epoli.gr.
According to reliable information epoli.gr the appointment was made at the initiative of the Government last Thursday and after the KEDE told it that it is now heading for an open rupture.
The decision of the KEDE, in which it should be noted that the majority of its members adhere to the New Democracy, to break with the Government, was taken last Wednesday, at the meeting of the Board of the Association in Larissa. There, the mayors denounced the imminent financial «strangulation» by the Government, the intransigence of the Ministry of Environment on the mandatory merger of the DEYA and the imposition of the burial fee, as well as the withholding of resources such as the resilience fee and others.
Based on these data, on Monday, the presidium of KEDE (president, vice-presidents, secretary) will meet at the Ministry of Interior with the competent minister Theodoros Livanios, the Minister of Environment Theodoros Skylakakis, while it is not excluded to participate ministerial members from the Ministry of Finance and the Mansion Maximou.
The aim of the meeting, according to the same information, is to find the «golden mean», in order to «lower the tones» and stop the opposition and criticism of the government by its own executives.
