When the discussion turned to the devastating accuracy that is showing its teeth to citizens, without yet reaching its peak, the ruling party's MP promised to speak with numbers and truths.
He argued that comparing accuracy with last year is wrong, since last year we had quarantine and products were... cheaper. According to the meteorologist, the «correct way» to compare prices is to compare them with 2019, and he argued without fear or passion that, compared to 2019, there have been no increases in supermarket prices!
Hearing this inexplicable statement, journalist Giannis Stratakis became furious and asked him, «Where do you live, Mr. Kallianos?» When the MP suggested meeting to show him an Excel spreadsheet with the figures, the journalist suggested they go to a bakery so he could verify the accuracy himself and treat him to some cheese pies.
