With a statement on Facebook, the Councillors of the Mayor's faction of Mr.Harhalakis “New Day” denounce Mr.Souris that he intimidates them. They refer to «unfounded allegations» of Mr. Souris and state that they are not intimidated. Read the statement:
THE MAJORITY CITY COUNCILORS ARE NOT EXCLUDED Mr. SURI!
We are all alarmed by the constant attempt by Mr. Souris and his party to intimidate the majority Councillors. Intimidation and threats have NO place in local government and our democratic constitution. All the Councillors of the majority have our full right of opinion, inalienable right of choice and above all we support by position and conviction all the decisions of our leader, which the people of Kythera have raised three consecutive times to the position of Mayor of Kythera.
We are surprised that Mr.Souris is defiantly silent about all the major projects implemented on the island and instead of proposals and solutions, he chooses complaints and reports, causing a huge problem for the administrative services of the Municipality, which, while they should handle important municipal affairs, have been forced for 4 months to deal with the unfounded complaints of Mr.Souris and the false election complaints of municipal projects, for which some people were in a hurry to rejoice.
Let them realize it:
no matter how many complaints they make, THE ELECTION RESULT DOES NOT CHANGE!
We declare in every direction: the attempt at intimidation will NOT succeed.
We will support the Mayor, the Municipal Authority, our programme, which the people of Kythera have ratified with their vote.
In the end, it is the works that are justified, not the complaints.
In the end, citizens remember and reward those who work and not those who try to stop the development of our Municipality.
