On January 19, 2024, prior to the New Year’s Cake Cutting Ceremony, the regular Board of Directors meeting of the New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira was held. The main topic was the visits by the Kythira Local Organization of New Democracy to New Democracy events in Athens, including the New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira’s New Year’s Cake Cutting Ceremony, the New Democracy Local Organization of Nea Filadelfia–Nea Chalkidona’s New Year’s Cake Cutting Ceremony—where we were present and were particularly thanked for our attendance— a meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Agia Paraskevi, and others, during which we were briefed on the issues and views expressed at these events.
The New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira and its President, after appointing the next Board of Directors, expressed their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the entire New Democracy community of Kythira for their support and active participation in the events. It is also worth noting the presence and coverage of the work of the New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira by the island’s media.
This was followed by the New Year’s Cake Cutting Ceremony organized by the New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira of Kythira, and after the reading of the greetings from Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythira and Antikythira, Minister of Labor and Social Security Ms. Domna Michailidou, the Secretary, Organizational Director of the President’s Office and Deputy Secretary to the President, Mr. Stylianos Kontadakis, the New Democracy Local Organization of Kythira cut the traditional pie together with a large number of friends who attended the beautiful and modest event.
