Areas without roads: Do they exist in Greece?;
Smog in Athens: When was it particularly visible?;
Paros Park: What is its relationship with the residents?;
ERT3’s weekly one-hour program, which introduces us to areas and initiatives of environmental interest, takes us on a journey to roadless areas and to Paros Park, while also reigniting the discussion about Athens’ smog.
What are roadless areas? Do they exist in Greece? Are they important for any reason? Dr. Kiki Kati from the University of Ioannina will answer these questions against the backdrop of the Vikos Gorge.
In Athens, chemist and environmentalist Nikos Chrysogelos reminds us of the first protests against the capital’s smog in the early ’90s. Has anything changed since then?;
On the island of Paros, across from Naoussa, Paros Park has existed for several years now. Why was it created, and how? Do the residents appreciate its existence? What measures are they taking to restore nature’s functions? Elena Symeonidou and Anastasios Kasapidis guide us through this corner of the Cyclades.
