Exhibition: «Ananthan Papantam or The Lost Eden» by Georgia Tseri

With her new works, Georgia Tseri invites us on a journey into the depths of generations, on a tour of what we keep alive from the past in the present, in a personal psychogram with a paternal feeling. Through her own ancestral history, she touches on themes related to migration and homeland as a place and as a quest. At the same time, her works highlight female identity and presence, abstractly and at a distance, reflecting the memory and perception of diversity within wholeness. The human figures are connected in the pictorial space with an inner character that acquires a metaphysical substance, expressing authenticity with a sense of transcendent unity. The successive layers of colour in the works, the textures and monochromes reflect a measure, a rhythm, an axiom: the axiom of inner necessity.
