In order to better serve the citizens and farmers of the island, the Directorate of Agricultural and Veterinary Policy of the Region of Attica announced the holding of examinations for the acquisition of a degree of agricultural machinery operator in Kythera.
Specifically, the theoretical and practical teaching will take place on Wednesday 7 May 2025 at 18:00, at the premises of the Agricultural Olive Oil Cooperative of Potamos Kythera. The course includes an analysis of the operation of the agricultural tractor, demonstration of its parts, safety measures and connection of attachments. Attendance is open to all interested citizens.
The written and practical examinations will be held on Thursday 8 May 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the same place.
Candidates are requested to submit up to two days before the deadline the following:
- Two recent ID photos
- Photocopy of your driving licence or moped licence
- Copy of your identity card or passport
- Electronic fee 15€
- Proof of permanent residence
For those without a driver's license, a traffic sign study is required (available at www.minagric.gr).
The Region stresses that those interested should be informed in time, as the procedure concerns the renewal of agricultural machinery operator licenses - with special provisions for foreigners.
