Clarifications of the Ministry of Finance for the heating allowance

About the heating allowance, the Department of the Treasury clarifies the following:

  1. In cases of settlements whose residents cannot find their settlement or have problems with the Postal Code in the relevant directory, can contact the Taxpayer Service Centre of the Hellenic Tax Administration at 213162100, so that the relevant correction can be made immediately. Updates to the lists have already been made, following communication from those concerned.

Those who have already proceeded to purchase firewood from 1 June 2020 can submit the relevant invoices on the platform, which is active.

It should be noted that the amount of the allowance received by each beneficiary may not be less than EUR 80 or more than EUR 650. The deadline for expressing interest for the heating allowance, based on current data, expires on Monday 11 January.
