T-2 aircraft crashes in Kalamata

A T-2 training aircraft crashed in Kalamata a short while ago. It is not yet known whether the aircraft was abandoned.

The T-2 is an American-made, twin-engine training aircraft.

The T-2 Buckeye is the Air Force's only training jet, and it is used to complete the training of cadets and new second lieutenants.
