Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, and Snow Patrol are among the artists who will perform at the “Concert for Ukraine” charity event.
The two-hour fundraising concert to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine will be held on March 29, at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The television networks ITV, STV, and Livewire Pictures are joining forces with the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) in the United Kingdom and the Media & Entertainment Global group to invite artists from the music world to a unique event that will spread a message of hope and support.
Camila Campello said that «her heart breaks» for the people of Ukraine, adding that «we all have a responsibility» to help.
Proceeds from the concert will be used to provide food, water, shelter, and medical assistance to refugees in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
ITV has pledged to donate all proceeds from sponsorships and advertising from the concert broadcast—approximately three million British pounds.
