Given to the public, following a relevant Order of the Athens Prosecutor's Office, the identity details, the photographs and the criminal prosecution against a national, who was arrested on 7-10-2022 by police officers of the Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors of the Attica Security Directorate (see the Press Release of 8-10-2022).
A criminal prosecution was brought against the national for rape of a minor, repeated rape, aggravated abuse of a minor under 14 years of age by a person who accepts the services of a minor, repeated rape, Abuse of a minor under the age of 14 years, repeatedly; aggravated case of child pornography (acquisition, possession, distribution), where the production of child pornography material is linked to the use of a minor under the age of 12 and 15 years, repeat offences, Aggravated pimping against a person under 15 years of age using electronic means of communication and with the offer or promise of payment of money or any consideration, Genital act with a minor who has or has not reached the age of 12 years for remuneration and Unlawful violence against a minor with whom the perpetrator has an employment relationship, Human trafficking and Weapons Act.

This disclosure, according to the relevant Prosecutor's Order, is aimed at the immediate need to protect society as a whole from the criminal activity of the accused, the fuller investigation of the commission of other criminal acts of similar gravity against an indeterminate number of minor victims and the easier satisfaction of the State's criminal claim for the punishment of the crimes committed, in order to prevent the commission of other criminal acts by the above, as well as the investigation of his participation in other criminal acts.

It is noted that the anonymity and confidentiality of communication is guaranteed.
It is noted that this disclosure is valid until 14:00 on 10-4-2023, according to the Prosecutor's Order. Beyond this time limit, it is not permitted and contrary to the law, to maintain and/or reproduce the publication of the above information.
