With a stunning performance in the final of the rings, Lefteris Petrounias won the first place in the final of the European Championships in Munich. This is the sixth gold medal in the event for the Greek champion, a record performance in the history of the European Championships.
The three-time world champion and Olympic gold medalist of Rio, left the Turkish Asil in second place while the British Tulloch came third.
With this victory, Lefteris Petrounias enters the pantheon of the greats of gymnastics, confirming that he remains by far the “Lord of the Rings”.
