Prosecution for manslaughter with intent was brought by the Prosecutor of Athens, D. Eleftherianos, against the mother of the three children in Patras who died tragically, Roula Pispirigou.
The case file was transferred to the competent investigator, while according to the procedure the relevant arrest warrant is expected to be issued.
The findings from the toxicology tests on Georgina appear to have been instrumental in determining what exactly happened.
According to the standard procedure, Roula Pispirigou is expected first to be taken to the General Police Directorate of Athens (GADA) -where she may already be- and then, after the case file is forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office, to be brought before the prosecutor herself.
Fear of suicide attempt by mother
The acceleration of the proceedings was reportedly made after reports that the children's mother, Roula Pispirigou, has been shaken after the revelations and may have attempted suicide.
The substance found in Georgina
According to MEGA's information, ketamine is the substance found in the blood of Georgina, the child of the Daskalakis family in Patras, who died third, after his two sisters, Malena and Iris.
The information indicates that this drug was not administered by the doctors of the hospital.
«A large dose can kill in a few minutes,» said forensic pathologist Charalambos Koutsis.
